White, white, eggshell, cream, white, blanche, ivory, white, and more white... Seems like all the designs for spring are missing one big thing...COLOR!! That doesn't mean it's all bland of course..a lot of it is very textured - mixing satins, silks, sheers and yes...even (who brought the 80's back?) lame'. (la·mé n.
A brocaded fabric woven with metallic threads, often of gold or silver. - what dictionary.com failed to mention is that lame' is just plain scary....and that's coming from a girl who likes shiny, bright things!!)
Sadly enough even Betsey Johnson went with the washed out look this season.
Good thing I can only afford to shop at The Gap and of course...Old Navy ...where their box of Crayola's are still working just fine.
