Happy Music

It's getting cold outside...cold, grey, gloomy...bleh. It makes me want to:
a. curl up in front of a fire with hot apple cider and a good book
b. head to the beach for one last ditch shot at some sun before winter hits head on
c. do domestic-y things...I can't seem to stay out of the kitchen lately!

Instead, I'll just keep welcoming in faux sunshine on whatever level I can find. Oh look..here's some now..lol

On a positive note, Thalatos helped me immensely with getting my OpenLaszlo installed (after 8 hours of fighting with java shiz). So for that I am thankful. Once I got it installed I was all excited - then I realized it's not really an interactive program like the tutorial was. It's more like if you know how to write it then gratz to you and wtb a notepad.

I've got this great OL idea though..so I'm not giving up...just yet! :)

OMG Finally!

Well it only took 24 hours..lol but OMG I finally got my blog repubbed with all the bells, whistles, and various other freaky little code things I've found. I'll be posting custom Sim2 mods in a few days now that I have this all straightened out. (And no, I'm still not happy with it....I have it at least passable for now.)

Before I forget..I think I'm gonna start a Jaudictionary filled with Jaudonnics and Jaudonnisms. If you don't know wtf that is then don't worry about it. For those of you that do however, I am brutalizing myself for the pleasure of others. LOL

Another reminder for me...create a blogblox of profile infos.

OMG I Blew Up My Blog!

Not sure what I did, but somewhere between running on no sleep, modding Sims, revamping my blog, and getting Flickr up and running I did something to blow up my blog. So without having a backup...(lol) being the closet blonde that I am, I just pulled up one of the hour old IE's I had up and copied the source. I pasted it into my template, not even thinking about the fact that it would have the posts and comments embedded. LOL Now I'm screwed. Think I gotta start from scratch..but that will have to wait till tomorrow...and more sleep...and hotter coffee.

Meanwhile....I want to find a whiteboard / draw api for my blog....so off I go to do more stuff that I have nfi about. :):):)

So after installing some 3k or so mp3's on my secondary pc - I realized that like 1k of them were duplicates. LOL (Yeah so I'm a little paranoid and I make copies of copies of copies of copies.) This is great for recovering music. This is not great when it's 4 am and you've heard Aqua's Barbie Girl for the 6th consecutive time. LOL

I am now in the process of trying to find a music sorter. In the meantime my geek hero Marc found a great (and free) alternative to Launchcast.

Cool Site of the Day (aka Nerd Alert!!)

Hobbitz!!

OMG I broke down and started a blog. I am officially a nerd. Well okay I was officially a nerd a long time before I started blogging...but well..this just sort of renewed my nerd membership card.

I'm not sure why I felt compelled to do this. I think it's mostly because I feel more and more lately like I have no voice. I have no close friends to converse with. Most of my conversations consist of trading quips in World of Warcraft with strangers or worse...the redunant "hiya..what's up?...k..sweet!!...omg nice!!...see ya later!!...sweet dreams". Sometimes I think I should just make macro hotkeys of each of those blurbs. Seems like the deepest conversation I've had in months was ...wow...now that's just bad...I honestly cannot remember.

That's what brings me here. I am here to carry on a meaningful conversation with myself and hopefully anyone else that happens to pass through. Speaking of which...my patience just ran out..so I'm gonna go do something here or here or maybe play some of this.
